So what is this app about? Petrol10, formerly known as DPF Remover, is the multifunctional application for professional workshops looking for a versatile solution for their daily mechatronics chores.
Why did the name change from DPF Remover to Petrol10 (pronounced Petrolio)? As the world advances from its dependencies on fossil fuels into the digital age, we too are evolving with a new approach to our marketing proposition, so the name changes.
The most frequent question I receive via email is "Does this software really work? Do all solutions work?", let me tell you - nothing is perfect - and the large number of firmware and updates available can break a working solution. This doesn't even consider the several possible extra damages any vehicle can have outside of what you're trying to achieve without considering the several possible extra damages any vehicle can have outside of what you're trying to achieve.
Here is a summary list of the solutions currently available:
DTC OFF - Removes faults from the engine control unit
DPF OFF - Disables the diesel particulate filter
EGR OFF (Unplugged) - Removes the EGR valve
EGR OFF - Disables the operation of the EGR valve
EGR CLOSE - The EGR valve is closed except during particulate filter regeneration
VMAX OFF - Disables the speed limiter
SWIRL OFF - Disables the operation of the butterflies in the intake manifold
KAT OFF - Disables the catalyst diagnosis
MAF MAP - Enables air mass calculation via the turbo sensor
MAP LIN - Modify the turbo linearization for a 4 Bar sensor
MAF OFF - Removes the air mass meter (air flow meter)
ADBLUE OFF - Disable selective catalytic reduction (SCR)
OBD PROT - Disable reading from the OBD port
HOT START - Allows the engine to start when hot
TRQ UNLOCK - Disables torque monitoring protection
TPROT OFF - Disables OBD anti-tuning protection
TVA OFF - Removes the shutdown throttle
TVA UNLOCK - Unlocks the maximum opening of the throttle actuator
INJ CODES - Disables reporting of faulty injectors
SPORT KAT - Disables the catalyst diagnosis while maintaining the lambda probe
GLOW PLUG OFF - Disables glow plug diagnosis
The user interface of the software is deliberately simple to ease the learning curve, the basic usage is:
1. Select an engine control unit model and the related solution from the list;
2. read the message panel for any recommendations to follow on the vehicle;
3. Load the BIN file which was read by OBD, Bootmode, Bench or BDM with OPEN button;
4. press the REPAIR button to start the task;
...wait for the task to complete
5. If necessary remove additional fault codes with the built-in DTC removal module;
6. save your finished work.
If the software fails to apply the changes, you will receive a message with a description of the situation and you will be asked to send us the original file via the "Send to support" window to report the problem to our staff.

User license
The application is protected with a USB dongle that will be shipped to you after purchase. It is possible to install the program on multiple computers but its use is limited to only one computer at a time. The USB dongle must remain connected to the computer as long as the program is running.
By purchasing or using the software you agree to all terms and conditions of the license agreement. If you do not accept and comply with these terms, you may not use the software or its features.
Purchase and Shipping
The recommended steps to purchase are:
1. Request a quote and payment methods from the contact page;
2. Register an account on the site by clicking here (used to download future updates);
3. The USB dongle will be shipped within 48 working hours (excluding Saturday) of receiving payment.
If you require an invoice please contact us providing your company details before purchasing.
The shipment, unless previously agreed with different methods, takes place in Italy with GLS or SDA courier and abroad with GLS Parcel Service.
Support and Updates
The application is sold with the first 18 months of updates to new solutions included.
Renewing the subscription plan for a further 18 months costs 488 euros and is only necessary to be able to access the new solutions created after the expiry date.
If you decide not to renew your subscription plan in the future, the software will continue to work and all solutions created before the expiration date will receive regular updates.
